CREATE WITH ANY AUSSIE METAL CLAY

You may create your competition piece using any clay from the Aussie Metal Clay range, including:

• Bronzes

• Coppers

• .999 Fine Silver

• .960 Sterling Silver

• Argentium .960 Silver

You may also combine different Aussie Metal Clays in your design where suitable.

HOW TO ENTER

Create an original piece especially for the competition and share it through one of the following official Aussie Metal Clay social-media accounts:

To enter:

1. Follow the relevant Aussie Metal Clay social-media account.

2. Share a clear photograph or video of your completed design.

3. Tell us a little story about your piece and why it is meaningful to you.

4. Tell us which Aussie Metal Clay or combination of clays you used.

5. Tag or mention Aussie Metal Clay in your post.

6. Include the official competition hashtag: #AussieMetalClay24Years

7. If entering the Beginner/Newbie category, clearly write: “BEGINNER/NEWBIE ENTRY”

8. Send us a Direct Message or Facebook Messenger message containing your name and a link to your entry so we can confirm it has been received.

IMPORTANT: YOUR ENTRY MUST BE PUBLIC

Your competition entry must be posted publicly so Aussie Metal Clay, the judges and other members of our creative community can see it.

Entries posted from private accounts, private groups or accounts that restrict access will not be eligible because we will be unable to view and verify the entry.

Please do not rely on a Facebook or Instagram Story alone, as Stories disappear and your entry may be missed.

You may share the same entry across multiple social-media platforms; however, it will still count as one entry.

COMPETITION PERIOD

The competition opens on Sunday, 9 August 2026.

Entries close at 11:59pm on Saturday, 31 October 2026.

All opening and closing times are Australian Eastern Standard Time—Sydney, NSW, Australia.

COMPETITION RULES

• Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.

• The competition is open worldwide where permitted by local law.

• Entry is limited to one entry per person.

• Each piece must be created specifically for this competition during the competition period.

• The entry must be the entrant’s own original design and work.

• Each entry must feature genuine Aussie Metal Clay.

• Entrants may use any Aussie Metal Clay range, including Bronze, Copper, .999 Fine Silver, .960 Sterling Silver or Argentium .960 Silver.

• Entries may be submitted as photographs or videos.

• Photographs and videos must be the entrant’s own content.

• Every entry must be posted publicly and remain public until the winners have been announced.

• Entries from private accounts or restricted profiles will not be eligible.

• Beginner/Newbie entries must be clearly identified as “BEGINNER/NEWBIE ENTRY”.

• Entries must tag or mention Aussie Metal Clay.

• Entries must include the hashtag #AussieMetalClay24Years.

• Entries received after the stated closing time will not be considered.

• Incomplete entries, entries that cannot be viewed or entries that do not follow the entry instructions may be deemed ineligible.

• Entrants are responsible for obtaining permission from anyone identifiable in their photographs or videos.

• Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.

• If a prize cannot legally or practically be shipped to the winner’s location, Aussie Metal Clay Pty Ltd may provide a suitable alternative prize of approximately equal value.

• Winners will be responsible for any customs duties, taxes or import charges imposed by their country.

JUDGING

All eligible entries will be personally judged by Ros Bailey and Kim Booklass.

Entries will be considered as a complete submission. Judging will not be based on technical skill, design or workmanship alone.

The judges will consider:

• Creativity and originality

• Design and workmanship

• Use of Aussie Metal Clay

• The story and meaning behind the piece

• Effort and overall presentation

• For the Beginner/Newbie category, the entrant’s experience level and creative development

A highly experienced artist will not automatically have an advantage over someone who is new to metal clay. The meaning behind the piece, creativity, effort and overall entry will all form an important part of the judging.

Winners will not be selected randomly or determined by the number of likes, comments, views, shares or followers received.

The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence regarding the judging decision will be entered into.

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

The winners will be announced through the official Aussie Metal Clay social-media accounts during November 2026.

Winners will also be contacted privately through an official Aussie Metal Clay social-media account.

Please be aware of imitation and scam accounts. Aussie Metal Clay will never ask a winner to pay a fee or provide banking or credit-card details to claim a prize.
