Aussie Metal Blackener

Safety: Standard safety precautions are required – use gloves, safety glasses, and ensure adequate ventilation. Do not consume the product. Keep away from pets and children.

Instructions:

  • Shake the container before use.

  • Keep the lid on when not in use.

  • Store in a dry, dark area.

  • The lid features a child-proof lock if using the pen dispenser.

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure the metal surface is thoroughly cleaned and free from oils, dirt, or debris to ensure optimal adhesion and uniform darkening.

  2. Apply the Blackener: Apply the blackener directly to the cleaned metal surface. Make sure to cover the area evenly for consistent results.

  3. Activate with Heat: Use a heat source such as a torch or a dehydrator to warm the treated metal. Maintain a consistent temperature to avoid uneven darkening. Heat the metal for 10-15 minutes. The blackener will react with the metal surface during this time.

  4. Observe the Transformation: Watch as the metal surface darkens, revealing the effect of the blackener. The transformation should be visible within the 10-15 minute heating period.

By following these steps, you can achieve a uniform, aesthetically pleasing blackened finish on your metal surface.
